Xsite pro has been my number one recommended website building software program for several years now.  But during that time there has been an increased promotion of wordpress by guru after guru!  So I decided to take a serious look at wordpress and also at the websites of all these experts.  Let me tell you a little secret.

If you read the training material of many of the experts who are promoting wordpress, you will find that they tell you to outsource the building of your website.  They usually gloss over the cost of building and maintaining a wordpress website as being " just a few bucks".  And then hastily start talking about how much money you will be making etc etc.

It has taken me weeks of dancing with wordpress options to get my blog to the point where I'm ready to start publishing.  Now to be honest, this is because I can only work on it for short periods of time before I get frustrated.  And I don't think it is because I'm just not familiar with it.  The great strength of wordpress is the vast resources available from a multitude of people.  But this also means that I have to scatter my attention in gathering all these bits.  Wordpress is a great blog platform, and I'll struggle through, getting more blogs up with it, but it can be very frustrating.
